The preparatory department was founded on December 1, 1969. It focuses on getting you to speak the language right from the start. The purpose of the preparatory department is to ensure the conditions for high-quality preparation of citizens for the external independent assessment of the quality of education and admission to LUVNU. Our language course in the preparatory department is interactive and delivered in the target language. It will allow you to quickly achieve proficiency, focusing on vocabulary and grammar for everyday life.
The teachers of the department are highly qualified specialists and have extensive experience in teaching foreign students.
Preparatory department:
• Accepts foreign students with different levels of Ukrainian proficiency;
• Provides educational and teaching aid and materials;
• Conducts training for 10 months;
• Conducts online and offline study;
• Has highly qualified specialists.
Training at the preparatory department is carried out under a contract signed by a foreigner with an educational institution. During the academic year, students of the Preparatory Department study the Ukrainian Language, the History of Ukraine, the Phonetics of the Ukrainian Language, Grammar, and Social Studies. At the end of the course, a Certificate of completion from the Preparatory Department is issued. Studying continues beyond the classroom. Students are offered to visit excursions around Lutsk-city and historical places of Ukraine which contribute to the effective mastering of the Ukrainian language. Classes for students are carried out in a new educational building. A library, computer classes, a sports complex, a dining room, and a cafe are offered for the students. Students are provided with all the necessary educational literature.
How to enter the preparatory department:
1. Prepare your document package. Scan a copy of your secondary school (or Bachelor's degree for Postgraduates) certificate with marks and grades and scan a copy of your passport send to an e-mail at inter-dep@vnu.edu.ua;
2. Get an invitation (Documents processing time and preparing the invitation for study - 2 weeks);
3. Apply for a Student Visa;
4. Prepare for your departure.
5. Insurance Policy acting on the territory of Ukraine (On Arrival).
