February 12, 2025, a meeting was held at the "Staryi Lutsk" historical and cultural reserve during which the participants discussed the implementation of the educational process with dual education elements. The event was attended by students, as well as acting rector Anatolii Tsos, Dean of Faculty of History, Political Science and National Security Yaroslav Yarosh, Deputy Dean Ivan Rudianyn, Head of Department of Musical Art Ivan Kosynets, representatives of the reserve the reserve and the "Caritas-Spes Lutsk" public organisation.
Acting rector Anatolii Tsos noted that training with dual education elements belongs to the priorities of the University. "Dual education assumes that students mostly spend their time at work, in an enterprise or in a certain organisation. This is a very good experience for the students who can combine their work and studies,” Anatoliy Vasylovych noted listing successful examples of implementing this form of education at the University. In particular, he mentioned the successful experience of such cooperation with the “Staryi Lutsk” historical and cultural reserve.
Dean of Faculty of History, Political Science and National Security, Yaroslav’s Yarosh words resonated with the longstanding constructive cooperation with the “Staryi Lutsk” historical and cultural reserve.” According to him, the students have an opportunity to be involved in real archaeological research and gain valuable practical skills.
Yaroslav Yarosh emphasized that the reserve’s director, Viktor Baiiuk, the faculty graduate, is currently collaborating with the students also as a lecturer. The result of the cooperation between the faculty and the reserve was the creation of the Archaeological Centre at Faculty of History, Political Science and National Security.
Ivan Rudianyn and Ivan Kosynets also spoke about the importance of training with dual education elements. It is important that the students also actively participated in the discussion.
